Dominique Frély

Dominique FRÉLY

born in Lyons. She first studied at the Lyons « Beaux Arts » (fine arts) School to conclude at the Paris Highes School of Modern Arts.

After several years devoted to her six children's education, she held her first own exhibition in 1983.

She appeared in many painting exhibitions of groups : à Paris, Lyon, Montréal, Deauville, Vienne, Moutiers, Tarare, Béziers, etc..., and held several personnal exhibitions :

  • Lyons - Boulet Mefret Gallery, St Vincent Gallery, Espace 13 Gallery;
  • St Marcelin - Noël Crouzet Gallery;
  • Grenoble - Marie Vignon Gallery;
  • Annecy - Bagnorea Gallery;
  • Courchevel - La Croisette exhibition hall;
  • Croissy/Seine - St Leonard Chapel;
  • Ste Maxime - Dolfins Gallery;
  • Tassin - L'atrium at the Major's request;
  • Les Baux de Provence - La Cure Gallery, St Vincent Gallery;
  • Méribel.

During these exhibitions most of her paintings have often been awarded :

  • Paris Free Arts : Bronze Medal;
  • Tarare Spring Salon : Silver Medal;
  • Lyons Spring show : Distinction;
  • Deauville city Winning prize;
  • Purchase of the city of Tarare;
  • Moutiers : Tourism Winning prize;
  • Lyons sud ouest show : Medal of honour;
  • Chartreuse Show : Local Council prize;
  • International Biennal Festival « des neiges » : First prize for oil painting;
  • Saint Alban de Roche « les Pictorales » : First prize for oil painting.

Many of her paintings are part of French collections, or foreign : USA, Japan, England, Deutschland, Sweden, Italy, Libanon ...

She also designed posters, postcard, new-years cards and CD Sleeves.
